$22,000 per apartment
$2,200 to furnish each apartment
Many of the women we serve are able to heal and recover in our day program with the job, education, and counseling we provide at the Mercy Workshop, but some need 24-hour care in a residential setting. They need rest, safety, and healing from the trauma and abuse they encountered.
Together we can provide a safer environment and brighter future.
Paloma House: A Place to Set Her Feet
In 2022, Paloma House was established as a place of refuge – a home where vulnerable women can find safety, healing, and ongoing support as they begin to rebuild their lives.
The name Paloma carries a story close to our hearts. It honors one of the women we had the privilege of serving, someone who experienced the trauma of the streets and trafficking but later found stability by moving in with her mother, a woman of faith. In that safe and loving environment, Paloma encountered Christ and began a new chapter of her life.
Her story represents what every woman deserves: a safe place to stand, to heal, and to move forward.
The Paloma Project
Building on this vision, we are prayerfully stepping into the next phase, what we call The Paloma Project.
Our goal is to create a small community of eight residential homes for women who have been rescued from trafficking. Each home will provide more than just shelter – it will offer a safe, stable environment where women can rest, recover, and continue their journey toward healing.
Here, they won’t have to return to the environments and abusers who once harmed them. Instead, they will be surrounded by care, community, and the ongoing support they need to grow stronger each day.
SHOP THE PALOMA COLLECTION
We believe every woman is created with purpose and dignity.
Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted by women who are rebuilding their lives, symbolizing healing, hope, and new beginnings. When you buy and wear it, you not only support the Paloma Project, but you carry a story of restoration and remind the world: you are His workmanship.
What does it really mean to have a place of your own?
For many women, healing starts in safety, but too often ends when they return to the same harmful environments. The Paloma Project is changing that. Through a growing village of tiny homes, we’re creating more than shelter – we’re building spaces of safety, stability, and community where healing can continue.
