New Hope Girls
New Hope Girls, located in La Vega, Dominican Republic, rescues girls from trafficking and exploitation while fighting to prevent future exploitation through residential care, education, outreach, and social enterprise. Their beautiful, handcrafted bags are sold throughout the United States, providing meaningful employment for more than 50 vulnerable women while helping sustain the ministry. Mercy Workshop and New Hope Girls have grown alongside one another over the years, encouraging and strengthening each other's ministries. Their team has generously provided training and mentorship for Mercy Workshop and other organizations serving vulnerable women throughout the Dominican Republic.
Batey Rehab Project
Batey Rehab Project (BRP), located in Barahona, Dominican Republic, exists to protect, empower, and restore women and children affected by human trafficking. Their vision is to empower HER future by providing protection and pursuing justice, creating opportunities for education and employment, and supporting the restoration of mind, body, and spirit.
Mercy Workshop has partnered with BRP through referrals, including receiving and serving women who have transitioned from BRP into our program. BRP has also hosted trainings and activities for women and girls served through DR Vision ministries. Allison Hale and BRP founder Katie Godkin serve together on the Founders Coalition, a network of ministry leaders who collaborate through referrals, prayer, encouragement, and shared wisdom as they serve vulnerable communities throughout the Dominican Republic.
Lily House
Lily House serves teen girls and young women seeking freedom from sexual exploitation and trafficking in the Dominican Republic. Founder Erica Jude and Allison Hale began their ministries at nearly the same time and spent countless hours walking the streets of their respective communities to better understand the realities faced by exploited women. Their friendship has grown into a meaningful ministry partnership through training, referrals, encouragement, and mutual support. Together, they remain committed to seeing women experience healing, restoration, and lasting hope in Christ.
Dare For More
Mercy Workshop’s partnership with Dare for More Ministries began when Allison invited Reba Bowman to the Dominican Republic to teach and encourage ministry leaders. Since then, the relationship has grown through leadership training, counseling, discipleship, and support for ministry leaders.
Reba and Allison also co-host the Rooted Deep with Reba Bowman and Allison Hale podcast, where they explore leadership, healing, faith, and ministry, inviting believers to grow deeper in their walk with Christ.
Vide Vibe
What began with a family mission trip to San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, and a shared love of volleyball quickly became something much greater.
After hosting a volleyball clinic in the community, VidaVibe founder Jenn Cibrone visited Mercy Workshop and a meaningful partnership was formed.
VidaVibe and Mercy Workshop discovered a shared commitment to connection, community, growth, and purpose. Today, the same teamwork that creates a successful match on the court fuels a partnership that brings those values to life.
Together, VidaVibe and Mercy Workshop create meaningful, purpose filled designs that provide employment opportunities for women rebuilding their lives while sharing messages of faith, hope, and purpose with those who wear each piece.
Agape to the Nations
Agape to the Nations brings hope to orphans and vulnerable people around the world, equipping, encouraging, and empowering them to become godly citizens in their communities and countries.
Agape has been a valued partner of Mercy Workshop for years. Their missions teams regularly visit Mercy and have sponsored and hosted Mercy’s annual Christmas outreach for women experiencing exploitation on the streets. They have also hosted trauma-informed trainings and retreats for leaders in the Dominican Republic, investing not only in the women we serve but also in the people serving alongside them.
